The Characters tab can be customised to allow you to view only the important information for the work you are currently doing.

The various different options are available on the toolbar towards the top of the page.

View

The view option can be changed from the default Table view to one of Cards views.

The Cards view will order the characters into columns based off which of the four options you choose.

  1. Role in Case - Slits the characters based on the role they have been assigned.
  2. Key - Splits the characters based on whether they have been labeled as key or not.
  3. Proofed - Splits the characters based on whether they have been labeled as proofed or not
  4. Witness Statement - Splits the characters based on whether they have been labeled as having provided a witness statement or not.

This view will still allow you to view the full set of information for each character by clicking on one of the cards.

Find

The Find search bar will allow you to perform a text search across all of the information displayed in the characters table.

IMPORTANT: The Find search bar is not case sensitive.

Filter

The Filter can be used to filter to certain characters based off the information that is associated with them. Click on the Filter icon and then click Add to see a list of all available filters.

Choose a filter and then type in the information you want to filter by. You can combine as many different filters together as you need to.

IMPORTANT: The Filter is not case sensitive.
