If you click and drag your mouse over a section of text, you can switch the annotation box to clipboard mode by clicking on the Clipboard icon in the bottom left hand corner.
This will give you a plain text extract of the relevant section of text.
Clicking the Copy button will select and automatically copy the text allowing you to paste it into a working document e.g. your draft opening submissions in the usual way. The text displayed in this window is dependent on the OCR’d text on the PDF being correct.
You are also able to include the documents title or reference using the tick box options to the right of the copy icon.

Note that copying and pasting from hearing transcripts in Opus 2 will initially carry the page and line referencing as well as the line formatting, for example:
You can use the tick boxes to remove the formatting and line numbers, as well as add the citation below the text
